Polaris 2018-2021 RZR RS1 Shift-Tek Clutch Kit — Install Guide

Installation

Remove clutch box cover, and CVT drive belt.

With a 15mm socket and impact remove the secondary bolt. Remove the secondary clutch.

With a sharpie mark an orientation line on both sheaves of the clutch.

Place the secondary clutch in a clutch compression tool. (Figure 1).

Remove (3) T-30 Torxs holding down the helix cover plate. Slowly release the compression tool.

Remove the helix plate cover, helix, limiter spacer and spring. Check the (3) buttons for cracks. Replace if the buttons are damage.

In this order install the spring, limiter spacer, NEW Helix, and helix cover. Compress everything in the compression tool and make sure all (3) threaded holes line up. You may have to adjust the cover slightly while compressing. (Figure 2) (Figure 1).

Reinstall (3) T-30 Torxs with blue Loctite. Torque to 12 ft-lbs.

Reinstall the secondary clutch onto the machine. Torque the secondary bolt to 10 ft-lbs + 90* turn (Per Polaris service manual.).

Reinstall CVT drive belt and turn the secondary till the belt is seated. Reinstall the clutch box cover.
