Can-Am 2021+ X3 RR Flex Fuel Display Instructions — Install Guide
Can-Am · 2021+ Maverick X3
Where is the ethanol percentage displayed? The flex fuel percentage is not displayed by default. The ethanol percentage will replace the main MPH read out on the dash when the headlight switch is held down.
Ensure your vehicle
1. The ECU has an EVP unlock 2. The vehicle has been flashed with EVP flex fuel tune. 3. The EVP flex fuel module has been correctly installed.
Here you can see a value of 2 while holding down the light switch, even though the vehicle is in park. That is the current ethanol level.
How this works When the light switch is held down, then the MPH display will give a live output from zero to one hundred. This is the measured ethanol percentage at the in-line fuel sensor. It can take a minute for the ethanol in the tank to reach the sensor. The ethanol percentage can be viewed this way even with the vehicle running.
**The MPH value will read zero and the check engine light will come on with no DTC codes if the module and sensor isn’t connected correctly. The vehicle will reduce power to prevent engine damage. Recheck that the sensor and wire harness are installed correctly. **
