Installation

Warm the vehicle up, park it on a flat surface.

Locate the engine oil drain plug. Place a drain pan under the vehicle and loosen the 17mm drain plug and sealing washer.

Clean and install a new sealing washer onto the oil drain bolt. Torque to 15 ft-lbs.

Locate the oil filter. Spray the housing with brake cleaner or compressed air. Install a filter wrench to the filter and spin off. It helps to place rags underneath the filter. Apply a small layer of oil onto the new filter O-ring. Install the new filter hand tight. Turn an additional 1/2 turn.

Remove the oil fill cap, remove the old O-ring and install the new.

Fill the engine up with 3.5 Liters of oil. This should be right below the top line. Start the vehicle. Check the sight glass, add the remaining .5L to the engine.
