Arctic Cat 9000/1100T · Snowmobile
Installation instructions for the EVP 9000/1100T silicone boost hose kit, which replaces the factory intercooler boost hoses with new EVO silicone hoses and T-bolt clamps. The job involves removing the hood and turbocharger cover, swapping the hoses, and reinstalling the panels.
9000/1100T Silicone Boost Hose
- Remove hood
- Remove the plastic cover on the left side of the snowmobile that covers the turbocharger. There are 4 torx head screws
- Loosen intercooler boost hose clamps (upper and lower) and disconnect hoses from intercooler end tanks, turbo charger and throttle body.
- Install the new EVO hoses and T bolt clamps – make sure the clamps are clocked in such a way that they will not interfere with the throttle cable, side panel, or hood fitment. There are 3 smaller and one larger T bolt clamp. The larger end of the upper boost hose attaches to the throttle body. If the hose is difficult to install, spray brake cleaner on the throttle body and the inside of the silicone hose.
- If the hoses were purchased with an intercooler fan kit, some trimming of the lower hose where it connects to the intercooler may be necessary.
- Reinstall side panel and hood.
