Installation

The EVP Quick Belt Changing Tool works with both OEM and Shift-Tek helixs.

Place the helix cover over the threads of the tool, with the handle at 90-degrees thread the tool into the helix. Make sure the ball bearings are facing the helix cover.

Once threaded in, pull the handle 90- degrees till it locks into position. Doing this will compress the helix into the secondary, moving the sheaves apart, allowing the belt to be removed within seconds.

Replace the belt, release the belt changing tool and spin the tool out of the helix. Spin the secondary 10 times allowing the drive belt to seat properly in the secondary.
