Installation

Remove the rear valance from your X3. The panel is mounted using (5) Torx bolts, three along the top and two on the bottom.

Remove the (4) muffler springs (left image), using a spring puller is recommended. Remove the muffler by taking out the four mounting bolts (right images).

Install and mount the Slip-on exhaust with the bolts loosely installed then hook up all four springs. Keep the bolts loose until the rear valance is reinstalled.

Attach the rear valance with the (5) T-30 Torx bolts. Center the exhaust pipe in the hole of the rear valance and tighten all bolts. Installation of the Slip-On Muffler is complete.
