Installation

Remove the rear fascia from your X3. The panel is mounted using five torx bolts, three along the top and two on the bottom.

Remove the four muffler springs (left image), using a spring puller is recommended. Remove the muffler by taking out the four mounting bolts (right images).

Install and mount the Muffler Bypass Pipe and bracket with the bolts loosely installed then hook up all four springs. Keep the bolts loose until the rear fascia is reinstalled.

Attach the rear fascia with the five T-30 Torx bolts. Center the exhaust pipe in the hole of the rear fascia and tighten all bolts. Installation of the Cat Bypass is complete.
